Winter This weeks joke is from Regan Fraser-Stewart Rm 6 Greetings Another busy week coming to a close. Last night our Board of Trustees met with our two new members Ben Stratford and Alex McLeod joining us for the first time. We look forward to working with them over the next few years. Peter Middlemiss was appointed as our new Chairperson. We have appointed Taua Tahaafe to the Board of Trustees as a representative of our Pasifika families. The Home and School met on Tuesday night. They are busy organising the cheese roll fundraiser. Please make sure you get the orders and money back by the due date. It would be really great if you could allocate a bit of time to helping make the cheese rolls as well. If we all work together the work will be done quickly. The Home and School does a great job fundraising and supporting the school. This is one of the reasons our school doesnt have to ask for donations. Please support us if you can. Highlanders vs Crusaders game This is being played next Thursday at 3.00 p.m. at centennial park. Some children have asked if they are allowed to go. Children will be able to go at 2.00 p.m. if parents send in a note and pick their children up from school. Survey re consultation A survey on our consultation policy is coming home this week. Please fill it in and return it to school. As well as looking at our consultation objectives we are also trying to find out if using internet surveys might better suit you. Please tick the box that best suits your family and way of responding to queries from the school. Our paper reviews generally have a poor response rate. It would be great to get most of these ones back. Reports Student reports are coming home soon. The format is quite different and we will be surveying you to get your feedback. We hope you like them.
