In return for these exchange weeks you are allocated a number of Wyndham Home Exchange Points. These points are allocated each year upon the anniversary of your use period and are available for you to exchange in return for a holiday.

The points that are assigned to you for your deposits are valid for two years. If you don’t use them by the end of the second year your points will expire unless you extend them.

Q How do Wyndham Home Exchange calculate the Points values?

A. Points values are based upon several variables including location, quality, amenities, size, and the time of year.

Q Will the Points value of my week ever change?

A. The calculations will be reviewed from time to time and should the values alter dramatically then both your Points and the Points required for an Exchange Holiday at your holiday home will alter accordingly either up or down.

Q What if I want to give a relative or friend my Points?

A. Your points can be given to anyone you wish. For a nominal fee you can purchase a Guest Certificate which allows your friends and/or family to take advantage of the reservation. Guests must be at least 21 years old. Some resorts, however, may have higher age requirements.

Q How do I let you know that I want to save my Points?

A. You do not need to let us know if Points have not been used by the end of the Use Year in which they were first allocated. They will automatically be saved into the next Use Year. If Points have not been used by the end of the Use Year they were saved into and you want to extend them, you will need to call Membership Services on the number we provide with your membership pack.

Q If I book two weeks of accommodation do I need to pay two reservation fees?

A. If you book two weeks in the same Points resort with the same unit size for both weeks, you only need to pay one reservation fee. If you book different unit sizes, different Points resorts - this will be subject to two reservation fees (one per week of accommodation booked). Visit us online for details of the fees applicable.

*The reservation fees for points holidays vary from nightly stays (4 nights or less), 5-7 nights
