I have written a thesis on “Evaluation of Secretory Otitis media with adenoids” This was

accepted by university of Kashmir and was awarded Master’s degree in Surgery in

1980-1984

I have worked on a research project on “Otitis media with effusion in pacific Island

family children” Work published in different international journals

Involved in Pacific Island Family (PIF) research. Children of Pacific island family decent

are being evaluated for middle ear disease and its impact on different aspects of life and

learning. A project that has been in progress for last 18 years- children born in 2000 (#

1300) of PIF origin are followed since their birth and evaluated on regular basis. It has

already produced some interesting results and papers that are published in international

literature.
