• The European Lifelong Guidance Policy Network aims …..to promote cooperation at Member State level on lifelong guidance and to propose appropriate structures and support mechanisms in implementing the priorities identified in the Resolution on Lifelong Guidance (2004).
• The main aim during the initial phase is to establish the network infrastructure and through the peer learning activities to identify in more details the areas of guidance where national developments can be enhanced by means of the ELGPN.

• One of the priorities in the Resolution of lifelong guidance relates to strengthening structures for policy and system development at national and regional levels.
• This work package builds on the work of the two previous Joint Action projects which have been assisting the development of National Guidance Fora[1] or other national co-ordination mechanisms.
