C .- lean-,RMS Pee-Wee Cheerleading Merit and Demerit System
in order to create a squad that is responsible, reliable, and honorable, the coaches have decided to set forth a
merit and demerit system for the upcoming 2013 cheer squads. Merits and demerits can be issued by either coach
or spirit-leader and are set in stone. Every cheerleader is responsible for their own actions- no one else.
August 19 will be the deadline for submitting any game date the cheerleader may miss. This is for
weddings, family reunions, or sporting events that has been already committed to. These will be excused if
provided by the deadline. This should be submitted in writing to one of the sponsors. This however does not
included vacations. Vacations are unexcused absences even if planned in advanced.
Excused practices- If you are sick and out of school the day of practice, you are excused from practice. School
reiated events are excused. However, all effort should be made to be at practice even if it is for 30 or 45 minutes
before the school events take place. Example: Chorus concert is on the same night as a practice, if you have to be
at school at 7 please come to practice at least 30 to 45 minutes. Deaths in the family are excused absences.
Absences due to an immediate family member in military service being deployed or on leave from deployment wilt
be excused. Any other reasons will be at the discretion of the board \sponsors. In any event of a missed practice,
please notify your sponsor in a timely manner prior to the practice.
Excused games- Sickness, death in the family, an immediate family member in military service being deployed
or on leave from deployment are excused. If you are sick, please notify the sponsors as soon as possible so we can
make arrangements as needed.
All regularly scheduled doctors, orthodontic appointments, etc, shou ld not be made at practice times
and will not be considered excused.
Merits
Merits are given for conduct above and beyond the expectations of a cheerleader. Demerits earned
