The King County Access to Baby & Child Dentistry (ABCD) program focuses on oral health education, preventive, and restorative dental care for Medicaid-eligible children from birth through age 5 including children with special health care needs through age 12. Emphasis on the FIRST TOOTH, FIRST BIRTHDAY, FIRST DENTAL EXAM by a dentist, or a doctor, as recommended by the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).

Dentists with the ABCD Program icon have been specially trained and certified by the University of Washington, School of Dentistry on caring for young kids, preventing tooth decay early, and educating parents about how to take good care of their children’s teeth.

Healthy Options plans in King County include Amerigroup (AMG), Coordinated Care (CCW), Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW), Molina Health Care (MHW), UnitedHealthcare (UHC), and are for medical services. Dental is fee-for-services and is covered using your ProviderOne Client Service Card (000000000WA).
