Look! 2 Look! is an English language series for young teenagers. Look! 2, the second book in the series, is for young teenagers. Although Look! 2 has a gently graded syllabus and a light- hearted approach, it is very serious and thorough in the approach to grammar, vocabulary and skills development. Look! 2 uses familiar task types with exceptional understanding of the process of learning and confident progress. The unique visual approach to presenting and explaining grammar helps students to understand that language is governed by systems. Regular project work introduces students to research in English and clear output in the form of posters, booklets, diaries, etc. These individually produced materials would be particularly suitable for the student’s Dossier in their European Language Portfolio.

Look! 2 reveals a profound understanding of the interests, capabilities and learning styles of young teenagers. It is very easy to teach, because the methodology is so transparent on the Student’s Book page. It is perhaps slower and more methodical than other
