5th Annual Recital

Dear Parents,

We would love to thank all of you for being part of Peace Love & Dance in our fifth season. It has been such a joy working with your children and we look forward to teaching them more in the future. This email is to inform you about our 2017 Annual Recital. It is important to fully read this information to understand what will be happening in the next few months.

For those who are new or have never been part of a dance studio, recitals are very important and special not only to the students but also to the teachers. It is a time where the children get to show off what they have been working so hard on and it brings families together to celebrate the dedication these students have put in.

We will have 4 recital shows this year. All recreational and competition dancers will be in at least one show. Technique classes do not perform in the recital. Because of the size of our studio, we cannot guarantee that all of your child’s/children’s dances are in the same show, but we will try our best. If your child/children are in multiple shows, you will need to buy a ticket for each show you are attending. We will be sending out the show schedule before tickets go on sale so you can know which show to purchase tickets for.

The students have been working on their routines and will continue to learn and perfect their routine until June when they can show it off. As stated in our cancellation policy, to set up our students for success in their recital routine, we cut off registration March 11th to allow for teachers to create formations and choreography that best suites all children in the class. Any child that drops out of a recital class from March to June will receive a $50 cancellation fee. We have attached costume photos for each recreational class.

Tickets for the show will go on sale on April 7th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. They will be $14 a ticket and we encourage you to invite as many people as you’d like. Tickets will be sold through a 3rd party business online, and each ticket will have a $1.55 transaction fee. All children 4 and older will need to have their own seat in the theater. We would love to have a sold out show for your children to perform to. These are assigned seats, so if you want a specific section in the audience, we suggest you purchase them as soon as possible. A month before the show we will be sending out more information in a packet as far as hair, make-up, show length, DVD's, flowers, etc. Following, is a brief summary of dates for you to remember.
