manufactured to the highest quality
standards and are available in a number
of configurations to accommodate
many specific project applications.
onshore up to 80C (176C)]
The GTS-PP-100 3L system providesexcellent adhesion and superiorcorrosion protection to polyethyleneand polypropylene coated pipelinesoperating offshore up to 100C (212F)[ . GTS-PP-100 3L sleeve has been designedw i t h a u n i q u e c r o s s l i n k e dpolypropylene backing and a highp e r f o r m a n c e a d he s i v e . T h ecombination allows sleeve installationand bonding to polyethylene andpolypropylene mainline coatings. Lowerpreheats are required versus othersystems and superior bonding isachieved without damaging the coatingduring installation.
Canusa's unique adhesive technologyallows for lower installation pre-heatsand superior bonding to polyethyleneand polypropylene coatings. Theadhesive has been formulated toeffectively bond directly to the mainlinecoating and the steel. The result is asuperior bond to both substrates withquicker application.

Superior Shear & Impact Resistance
The GTS-PP-100 3L sleeve has superiorimpact and shear resistance by virtue ofits polypropylene backing. The sleeveis particularly useful in offshoreapplications where in-service impact ise xp ec te d. T he ra pi d c oo li ngcharacteristic of polypropylene allowsbetter resistance to offshore layingrollers.
Lower pre-heat means less timeheating and improved production. Thepre-manufactured sleeve means lesstime in handling, positioning andinstallation. The overall systemminimizes installation time and labourcosts while promoting high productionrates onshore and offshore.
Canusas proven method of force curingthe epoxy primer to the steel allows theinstaller to pre-inspect the joint priorto sleeve application. The epoxy willnot be displaced during the aligning andshrinking stages of the sleeve installa-tion. This provides the assurance thatthe pipe is fully protected. Canusasepoxy primer can be applied to an even, nominal thickness for maximum
corrosion protection.
