WHAT IS A PERSONALITY? The "personality" is the typical pattern of

thinking, feeling, and behaviors that make a person unique.

It is the combination of characteristics or qualities to form an individual's distinctive character making someone interesting or popular in the society or job places.

When we say that someone has a "good personality" we mean that they are likeable, interesting and pleasant to be with.

WHAT IS A PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM It includes many modules like: INTERPERSONAL SKILLS MODULE: Guides you on how to

carry a positive attitude and how to behave professionally. SPOKEN ENGLISH MODULE: Guides you on how to speak

English fluently. WRITTEN ENGLISH MODULE: Guides you on how to write

English in emails and business letters, easily. PUBLIC SPEAKING MODULE: Guides you on how to speak

correctly and confidently in public.

WHY OUR STUDENTS NEED IT? Students belong from rural background. They have lack of formal ettiquettes and

manners. Lack of proper verbal and non-verbal

communication skills. Lack of confidence. They have thoughts and ideas,but not

proper way to express. Improper dressing and presentation skills. Unaware about the professional

environment.

WHY MEWAR UNIVERSITY NEED IT?Proper grooming of students by college will lead

to:1.More placements from college.2.Companies will give a positive feedback,hence

, will come again for placements.3.It will Attract more students to join us.4.Will enhance our brand image in the

AS OUR STUDENTS LACKS IN ALL SUCH FIELDS,SO:1.English: written and spoken2.Aptitude preparation(Reasoning,maths,g.k,etc)3.Workshops for proper dressing and discipline.4.Counselling sessions for there post graduation

and job related queries.5.Mock group discussions and personal interview.6.Classes on general awareness.7.Competitions on class level , so that everybody

will be motivated 2 participate.8.Workshops on presentation skills and confidence

building.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO? Prepare a proper course curriculum to

implement the program efficiently. It may vary with the level of understanding

of the students. It should be practical based instead of

theory based. With every semester , we should introduce

few practical tasks to develop there communication , confidence and discipline.

Various activities to make them versatile. A proper forum of students to learn and

apply the extra co-curricular skills.

It is just the beginning of sincere efforts to create positive modifications in our students, and to enhance the credibility of our education system…….
