Fix a Leak Week: March 20 - 26Take a minute to see if your toilets are leaking, as they could be quietly wasting
hundreds of gallons of water each week! To check, put a few drops of food coloring in your toilet tank. Do not flush. If after 15 minutes, you have colored water in the toilet bowl, a worn-out seal around the flapper is leaking water from the tank to the bowl. Replace the flapper to stop the leak - an easy fix that can save more than 600 gallons of water a month. A great resource for homeowners is the Find and Fix Leaks that are Draining Your Budget guide. The guide can be ordered at SmartHomeWaterGuide.org.
Did You Know?Your monthly sewage
charge for the entire year is based on your average water use between January and March. Be water-wise now so you can save money all year long. Phoenix.gov/Water.
Coming Soon In 2017, the city of Phoenix will be
rolling out an updated city services bill and enhancements to the city's online city services billing. These enhancements will improve the customer experience while viewing and paying a city services bill online. Stay tuned for more information.
