I studied at the University of Lincoln for a BA (Hons) degree in Media Production; specialising in Design in my final year. The skills I’ve acquired through using various mediums has enabled me to apply my knowledge to a range of projects. I explored the subject of food photography in advertising and the techniques applied in the process. I emphasized how corporations exploit consumers for capital gain with no compromise for health.

I produced a set of images visually communicating the next future icon in popular culture. I created the ‘Meal Replacement Pill’ to emphasize society’s obsessive relationship with food and body image.

I produced an emailer in photoshop for the potential clients they would target this service at, the business owners of these holiday homes: B&B’s, hotels, guest houses, lodges etc.

I produced an email newsletter promoting this new service, composing the visual elements in Photoshop and coded it with Dreamweaver. I also created an additional A5 flyer to market this.

The purpose of this project was to give the tearoom’s brand identity a boost through improving their current logo, double-sided business card and loyalty card. I also did an A5 marketing flyer.

I re-designed their menu and applied brand consistency throughout. I maintained their vintage and traditional content contrasted with a contemporary design edge to encourage a younger demographic.

I designed the name and logo for a series of workshops the Library provide for undergraduates at the University of Lincoln. I produced an interactive PDF file to inform the students about these services.

I designed a marketing campaign to promote the Digital Edition of Heritage Railway for a younger demographic. I produced a mobile App called the “Rail Trail Point Tracker” and an A5 guide as support.


Red Train icon locate heritage railway stations within the nation.Yellow Train icon locate heritage railway stations within the region.Green Train icon a list of heritage stations you have checked in at.


This app consists of a series of icons and tabs which create a pathway of information for the user to navigate their way through and learn more about the heritage railways around the country.

The purpose of this guide was to give an overview of the RailTrail scheme, provide a brief historical background to our countries heritage and encourage this engagement through social media links.

I produced a billboard poster of the entire range of infusion flavours for a female consumer. This poster aims to promote and increase awareness to this new brand which takes a modern twist on whisky.

Design Whisky Infusion May 2014


I created a 21st Century Scotch Whisky brand that has a range of eight infusion flavours which appeals to a female consumer aged 21 to 35 years. I produced a billboard poster displaying just one flavour.

I produced a billboard poster of one specific flavour. This template can be replicated and applied to the whole range by altering colour tint of the background to match the brand palette of that infusion.



I produced several A0 sized posters which to promote this new brand and product range. It would be seen in suitable advertising places such as shopping centres within electronic scrolling boards.

Created a 3-D mock-up of a box packaging design. This template would reflect the brand identity of the company, Alchemy and accurately echo the elements of the bottles label design.


I produced a series of website mock-ups to promote the brand. The site features the story behind Alchemy, the infusion process, the flavour range, cocktail recipes and social media icons to interact on.


The homepage displays the entire range and awards the brand has won since its release. The dropdown menu has a reduced opacity and simple detailing to the style which relates to the flavours colour.


This page explores the history and heritage behind the company, Alchemy and the ethos of the brand. It depicts the founders vision for the product towards a female consumer in the 21st Century.


I produced a four slider element to the infusion process page which is indicated in the pagination below the main body of text in the box. Each section breaks the process with a brief description.


I produced a main page for The Range which displays each flavour. The user can then click on any bottle which will lead them to the corresponding page to reveal more information.



I created a profile which detailed the taste, palette and ingredients included in that particular infusion. There is a brief paragraph describing how the drink can be enjoyed and what it compliments.


I produced a main page for the Recipes which displays each flavour. The user can then click on any bottle which will lead them to the corresponding page to reveal more information.


Once the user has clicked on a bottle, it will lead them to the specific page which shows two cocktail recipes. This information details the ingredients, measurements, glasswear and method.
