Construction Sika ® ViscoCrete G-2 High Performance Polycarboxylate Dispersant for Gypsum Description Sika ViscoCrete G-2 is a high performance aqueous dispersant based on Sika’s ‘ViscoCrete’ polycarboxylate polymer technology. ViscoCrete G-2 is specially formulated to provide maximum water reduction and stabilization properties in the manufacture of gypsum based products. Applications Sika ViscoCrete G-2 is formulated for use in the production of gypsum based materials. Benefits ViscoCrete, Sika’s unique polycarboxylate technology, works through the forces of steric and electrostatic repulsion to effectively disperse gypsum particles and provide a high level of fluidity with less water. As a result, ViscoCrete products can provide significantly higher water reduction and stability then conventional dispersants and competitive products. ViscoCrete G-2 is a near colorless, water-soluble, highly concentrated polycarboxylate based dispersant that provides superior fluidity to gypsum slurries at significantly lower dosages. The benefits of ViscoCrete G-2 include, but are not limited to the following: ▪ Maximum dispersion of solids ▪ High level of fluidity with less water ▪ Reduction in the consumption of water and less waste water ▪ Low dosage When specifically utilized for gypsum wallboard production the use of ViscoCrete G-2 can result in: ▪ Shorter drying times ▪ Increased production through Increased line speed ▪ Reduction in Energy costs ▪ Overall reduction in production costs. How to Use Dosage Dosage rates will vary due to variations in gypsum sources, calcining methods and individual plant operating parameters. Sika recommends testing to identify the optimum dosage for your specific conditions. Please contact your local regional office or Technical Service Department 1-800-933-7452 for more information and assistance. Packaging Sika ViscoCrete G-2 is available in 275 gallon totes (1040 liters) drums and bulk delivery. Storage and Shelf Life Sika ViscoCrete G-2 should be stored at above 35°F (2°C). If frozen, thaw and agitate thoroughly to return to normal state. Shelf life when stored in dry warehouse conditions between 50°F and 80°F (10°C - 27°C) is one year. Sika® ViscoCrete G-2High Performance Polycarboxylate Dispersant for Gypsum

Description Sika ViscoCrete G-2 is a high performance aqueous dispersant based on Sika’s ‘ViscoCrete’ polycarboxylate polymer technology.

The benefits of ViscoCrete G-2 include, but are not limited to the following:

▪Maximumdispersionofsolids

▪Highleveloffluiditywithlesswater

▪Reductionintheconsumptionofwaterandlesswastewater

▪Lowdosage

When specifically utilized for gypsum wallboard production the use of ViscoCrete G-2 can result in:

▪Shorterdryingtimes

▪IncreasedproductionthroughIncreasedlinespeed

▪ReductioninEnergycosts

▪Overallreductioninproductioncosts.
