Sika® ViscoCrete G-2High Performance Polycarboxylate Dispersant for Gypsum

Description Sika ViscoCrete G-2 is a high performance aqueous dispersant based on Sika’s ‘ViscoCrete’ polycarboxylate polymer technology. ViscoCrete G-2 is specially formulated to provide maximum water reduction and stabilization properties in the manufacture of gypsum based products.

Applications Sika ViscoCrete G-2 is formulated for use in the production of gypsum based materials.

Benefits ViscoCrete, Sika’s unique polycarboxylate technology, works through the forces of steric and electrostatic repulsion to effectively disperse gypsum particles and provide a high level of fluidity with less water. As a result, ViscoCrete products can provide significantly higher water reduction and stability then conventional dispersants and competitive products.

ViscoCrete G-2 is a near colorless, water-soluble, highly concentrated polycarboxylate based dispersant that provides superior fluidity to gypsum slurries at significantly lower dosages.

How to Use

Dosage Dosage rates will vary due to variations in gypsum sources, calcining methods and individual plant operating parameters.
