• Builder Membership shall be open to anyone who is engaged in the business of building or remodeling and who holds the requisite businesslicenses, including general contractor registration; or who is engaged in the business of land development and holds the requisite business licenses for that activity.

• Associate Membership shall be open to anyone who is engaged in any allied trade, industry or profession relating to construction, remodeling, landdevelopment or the promotion and support of the building industry and who holds the requisite licenses and/or contractor registration for that activity.

• Affiliate Membership shall be open to any individual who is an employee of a builder or associate member of MBA Pierce and who hasbeen approved to be an affiliate member by their member employer. Affiliate Members have limited membership benefits and cannot serve on the Board of Directors or vote in the annual Board elections.• All applicants for membership must engage in business or reside within the jurisdiction of this Association and be of good character andbusiness reputation. Upon verification of all required licensing and registration requirements for the applicant’s business, each application is submitted to the Master Builders Association of Pierce County’s elected Board of Directors for formal approval.
