Gree�ngs of the day !

We extend a warm invita�on to all of you to par�cipate in the pres�gious 19th Annual

Conference of Pediatric Cardiac Society of India (PCSI). It is being held this year from 14th to 16th

September, 2018 by U.N. Mehta Ins�tute of Cardiology and Research Centre in collabora�on

with PCSI at Ahmedabad, the first Heritage City of India.

The prepara�ons for the event are on and in full swing. We are striving hard for making the

conference an educa�ve as well as an insigh�ul meet. We also would like to ensure that the

pres�gious event would be an enjoyable and memorable event for a long �me for all of you.

Management of Congenital heart diseases with op�mal outcomes remains a medico-

financial challenge in south Asia. We have hence chosen “redefining care” as the theme of the

event of the year.

The conference will have didac�c lectures, symposiums, panel discussions, debates and

live demonstra�ons/ workshops on various heart diseases in children that are shaping the

future ways to address the challenges. Many among them are management of heart failure,

Ross procedures, Ross Konno procedure, Fetal 3D/4D Echocardiography, Aor�c root surgery.

Some of the world renowned surgeons and cardiologists are gracing the occasion and it is an

excellent opportunity to interact with them and not to be missed. Addi�onally we have free and

award winning paper sessions, too.

We also assure you the conference would not just be limited to all work and no play. The

historic city of Ahmedabad offers unique opportuni�es for tourism and sight-seeing with its

magnificent temples, striking mosques, interes�ng museums and the beau�fully curated

Riverfront. While in Ahmedabad, who would not want to visit the Sabarma� Ashram, abode of

the Father of the Na�on, Mahatma Gandhiji. There are some amazing world class golf courses

like Kensville, Kalhaar and Gulmohar to choose for sports aficionados.
