MPI Card can be swapped for FTP Card (HCS1410) in order to receiveDIRECTV® encrypted content.

The Built-In IR Receiver accepts remote control key presses which are passedthru the HCS5610 via the RS232 cable. The Command is interpreted by theHCS5610 and then sent back to the TV. This same method is used to changevolume setting, power on/off, change input, etc.

Use the television’s Built-In IR Receiver to Send IR Commands to the HCS5610via the RS-232C Cable.
