Sunday Pay Differential
Must be regularly scheduled to work on Sunday.

employee will accrue in the remainder of the leave year.
Sick Leave: A maximum of 240 hours, even for Family Care sick leave.
Employees do not have an entitlement to advanced leave.

Travel, Exempt Employee
Time spent in transit shall be considered hours of work when:
1. During regular working hours.2. Work is performed while in transit.3. It is the return trip from transporting items.4. Transit is under arduous and unusual conditions5. If results from an urgent event which could not be
scheduled or controlled administratively.
Travel, Non-Exempt Employee
Time spent in transit during non-duty hours shall be considered hours of work when:
1. Required to drive a vehicle
2. A passenger on a one-day assignment
3. A passenger on an overnight assignment during hours that correspond to the employee(s) regular working hours.
Comp-time for Travel

Training as Hours of Work FLSA Exempt Employee
1. Training during regular working hours.
2. Training outside of regular working hours if it meets one of the following requirements.
a. Employee is already receiving premium pay
b. Situations the employee must learn to handle only occur at night.
c. Costs including premium pay are less than the costs when training is confined to regular
work hours.
d. Granted an exception by OPM
Training as Hours of Work FLSA Non-Exempt Employee
1. The employee=s training is required by the agency and the employee=s performance or continued retention in his or her current
position will be adversely affected by non- enrollment in such training.
2. Time spent by an employee performing work for the agency during periods of training
shall be considered hours of work.
