BaND took 1st in their division last Saturday! What a great way to start contest season. volleYBall –The LadyKats swept Brenham Tuesday night. Freshmen B: 25-20, 25-20. Freshmen A: 15-25, 25-22, 25-19. JV: 25-16, 25-9. Varsity: 25-23, 13-25, 25-15, 25-21. Please sign up to walk or run & help the Willis LadyKats raise money to right breast cancer. The 5K is Saturday, October 21 at the Moran Ranch in Willis. Do something for yourself and others.Cross CouNtrY - The Willis Cross Country Team performed well at the Liberty Invitational on Saturday. The boys and girls varsity teams finished 2nd out of 14 teams while the boys and girls jv team finished 4th. Klein won the meet. Mariela Guerrero was 6th, Emika Sorenson was 8th and Chloe York was 11th to lead the LadyKats Varsity. Olivia Bean was 20th, Daisy Koenig was 30th, Julianna Garcia was 38th, and Celina Lira was 50th. For the WildKats Efrain Lira was 5th, Jaime Vega 8th, and Carlos Barcenas was 10th, Kebin Guerrero was 15th, Dillon Douglas was 32nd, Tim Coger was 34th, Brian Topping was 39th. Many ran season best times! In JV competi-tion Shane Abernathy led the boys with a 5th place finish while Lily Atkinson was 6th for the girls. The Purple Shoe Award went to Chloe York and Lily Atkinson for the girls and Jaime Vega and Braden Kurtz!! Congrats Runnin’ Kats!!wilDKat roBotiKs – attended their first training last Saturday. footBall – The varsity team will face the Huntsville Hornets tonight for homecoming. Come supports the Kats and show Huntsville what school spirit really looks like!hosa – Dues dues are 50.00 dollars and due Oct.13th. Please see Ms. Millner or Mrs. King to pay dues.
