Tack Coat ing
What is the Goal for Tack Coating?
To provide an evenly distributed liquid asphalt for the purpose of bonding asphalt or rock chips to a new or existing road surface.
The purpose of tack is to provide an adequate bond between the two products for adhesion purposes.
Proper preparation of the paving/chipping surface prior to application is critical.

How far will a 6000 gallon tanker go at .25 GPSY?
5280 X 20 X .25 ÷ 9 = 2,933
