FOUR MAIN VIEWS ON SIN Pelagian View of sin: Man is created neutral (not sinful or holy).Everyone is born in the same condition as Adam and no sin istransmitted. Augustinian View of sin: Man is totally depraved. Adams sin isFEDERALLY transmitted to man. Semi-Pelagian View of sin: Man retains some measure of freedomnot to sin. Man can cooperate with Gods grace to effect salvation. Arminian View of sin: Adam was created in innocence (not holiness).Sin is an act of the will (not a natural condition). We inheritpollution from Adams sin, but not guilt or a sinful nature. Man isnot totally depraved and he can conform to Gods will and even helpeffect regeneration. 4. I.
