FREE CYBERSAFETY PRESENTATION WITH SUSAN
McLEAN
Susan McLean will be our guest presenter this Thursday,
September 20th at 6.30 pm in the hall.
Susan is a lead expert in the field of Cyber safety and young
people. I would encourage all parents and carers to attend this
informative session. If you use social media as a personal tool,
it maybe also advantageous to come and see if you have confi-
dence in your ability to comply with the Federal rules and com-
pliances. Further information was made available to families in
a separate flyer last week.
Please place this date in your calendar, as it is an event that all
parents should attend and log onto
www.trybooking.com/423061 to ensure you have a seat for the
event.
SCHOOL WEBSITE UPGRADE
During the week, we had an upgrade on our school website.
The new design has a fresh new look and some great new
features. All the school calendar events have been entered
onto the website under the Quick Links section, and you can
also access Compass through the website as well.
WALK OR RIDE TO SCHOOL DAY OCTOBER 16TH 2018
The City of Kingston has produced a brilliant brochure for all community members identifying the safest walk
and wheels routes to school. On Tuesday, October 16th we will be having a special event, where we
would like families to meet some of our teaching staff at one of the four route starting points:
Yellow: At Launching Way Purple: In Sovereign Close Green: At Eel Race Road Orange: Palm Beach Drive
The walk will culminate in a special breakfast event at school. Maps and further information will be provided to families in the first week of Term 4!
