Organization PatternsSnooker and pool have been very popular

games among Pakistani boys. They appear to be the same but are they really? Let’s see. The carpet of a snooker table is smoother than a pool table. The snooker table is also much bigger than a pool table. Even the size of the pockets varies.

Organization PatternsGeorge is a small, thin and bony guy. Every

part of him looks strong and slim. He has a tough looking face and tired eyes. He is a little bossy and mean. He does not like anyone telling him what to do because he feels he is responsible enough to do everything right. He is quick to do everything, because of his small speedy body. On the other hand, Lennie is an unusual guy. He is huge, with heavy arms and does everything sluggishly. Lennie has a loose face with big pale eyes

Organization PatternsWhat does the word "large" mean these days?

No, not that! I'm referring to the diminishing use of it in proper context. Ordered a large Coke lately? You probably wound up with the one that was one size smaller than the biggest they had. To me, large means if there are three sizes, it's the biggest one.  Apparently there are those in the retail industry who disagree with me. Sometime, without my knowledge, small was renamed as "regular," medium became "large," and large came to be considered "extra large."

Organization PatternsAt phylum level, animals are grouped

together based on similarities in basic body plan or organization.  For instance, species in the phylum Arthropoda  have external skeletons as well as jointed bodies and limbs.  Insects, spiders, centipedes, lobsters, and crabs are all arthropods.

Organization PatternsMost students who do not complete school do

so because of family problems. Some parents are not interested in education and do not support their children in studying. There are several things that can be done about it. Parents should be encouraged to send their children to school. Schools with baby-minding facilities should be opened specially for married students. The government also needs to stress the importance of education.

Organization PatternsTV was invented with positive thoughts in mind –

there would be no national borders, education and communication would be worldwide, etc. However, we are now trying to overcome its physiological and psychological adverse effects on human beings. One of the physiological effects of watching TV in excessive amounts is eye-strain. It is true that there are specifications for watching TV; TV should be 5 m away from the eye, the room should be adequately lit, TV should be placed at the same height with our eyes, etc.
