Stash Extravaganza Carole Parker
December is a favorite month for many PenWAG members because of the Stash Extravaganza People find really ldquoneat stuffrdquo that other members have contributed and come up with some wonderful creations from items they got at the Stash Extravaganza
We are going to try an experiment this year paper bags will be marked with a price You can fill the bag with anything at the Stash Extravaganza except for two things 1 auction items or 2 high-end priced items We will try to set these items on a separate table to minimize confusion
November is your last month to donate items for the Stash Extravaganza If yoursquore considering making a do-nation
bull No scraps smaller than a fat quarter
bull If your ldquomagpierdquo gets excited and overfills the priced marked paper bag causing it to split or tear and you have to use another bag to contain the contents you cover the price of both bags
bull If you bring a canvas bag and use it the bag closest to the size of the canvas bag will be the basis for pricing the total contents of the canvas bag
bull The voice auction caps at 10 items Overflow valuable items will be put on the higher priced table(s)
bull If you donate complete patterns please group like sizes together Rubber bands string or one com-mon bag per sizetype (women toddlers children men etc) are acceptable for grouping purposes This will make our sorting job much easier
The December meeting will be in the Roosevelt Room Q-80 open from 9 AM to 330 PM
Yes I am looking for help to sort the donations We will also need to pick up and transport the donations from Maralyn Smithrsquos storage unit in San Jose to my garage studio space which has two fifteen (15) foot ta-bles in Sunnyvale
Please send e-mail to mscipsonicnet to let me know when you are available to help sort the donations Be aware that two cats reside with us but they will be in hiding and they are not allowed in the garage I have some evening hours available if enough people express an interest in doing a weekday evening sort We will NOT sort during the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend I look forward to seeing what treasures PenWAG members share
