Aplicación:Para facilitar la instalación mantenga el marco de la puerta sujeto con bridas a las piezas horizontales de la estructura hasta que quede bien asegurada al rack.Si han de separarse, asegúrese de no perder la arandela de teflon de cada clavija de la bisagra.

Application:For ease of installation leave the door frame tie-wrapped to the horizontal frame pieces untilsecure to the rack.If they must be separated, ensure you don’t lose the teflon washerin each hinge pin.

Ajuste de la puerta:Si el marco de la puerta queda abombado tras colocar los racks y roza con la parte inferior dela estructura, afloje los tornillos superiores y mueva la parte superior de la estructura hacia laizquierda. Del mismo modo, si la parte inferior de la estructura se desplaza hacia la derecha,la puerta se levantará.

Door adjustment:If the door frame after loading with panels is drooping and rubbing on the bottom frame, loosen the top rack screws and move the horizontal frame to the left.Likewise if the bottom horizontal frame is moved to the right, the door will rise.

Gracias a los nuevos conectores, se reducen considerablemente las pérdidas por retorno provocadas por la desadaptación de impedancias que existe a altas frecuencias consiguiendo así pérdidas porcentuales no superiores al 2,25% en todas las versiones de conectores HDTV(HD-SDI) frente al 7-9% de los conectores analógicos.Un latiguillo con dos conectores BNC HDTV(HD-SDI) y un coaxial de 20cm produce una ROE (VSWR) de 1,5, equivalente a una atenuación de 0,19 dB, mientras que con los conectores analógicos producen una ROE (VSWR) de 2,1-2,5 y una atenuacióncomprendida entre 0,65-0,85 dB.En casos críticos, como unidades móviles cableadas para señales de HDTV donde el conexionado entre patches es muy abundante, siempre se aconseja colocar conectores HDTV(HD-SDI), ya que no solo se tiene que tener en cuenta las pérdidasque existirían entre el conexionado del emisor/BNC/cable y las del cable/BNC/receptor, sino también todos los puentes que existen entre el emisor y el receptor.Un caso práctico sería una transmisión que realizara 4 puentes antes de llegar al receptor.Esto nos lleva a 8 conexiones de BNC(4 BNC H-H pasa chasis), más 2 conexiones de BNC (emisor y receptor), si utilizáramos conectores analógicos, tendríamos unaatenuación (a parte de la producida por el mismo cable y sin tener en cuenta los conectores BNC pasa chasis) de 0,85 dB x 5 =4,25 dB. Si en este caso se aplican conectores HDTV(HD-SDI), se conseguiría reducir este valor a 0,95 dB.

Thanks to the new HDTV (HD-SDI) connectors, the return losses caused by the impedances´mismatch that appear at highfrequencies are drastically reduced. This fact makes it possible to get percentage losses under 2.25% in all HDTV(HD-SDI) connectors unlike 7-9% of SDI connectors.A patchcord with two BNC HDTV(HD-SDI) connectors and a 20 cm coaxial produces a 1.5 ROE (VSWR) equivalent to a 0.19 dB,whilst the SDI connectors produce a 2.1-2.5 ROE (VSWR) and an attenuation between 0.65-0.85 dB.In critical cases such as OB vans wired for HDTV (HD-SDI) signals in which there are a lot of connections between patches it isalways advisable to use HDTV(HD-SDI) connectors since it has to be borne in mind not only the existing losses between connections of the emitter/BNC/cable and receiver/BNC/cable, but also the bridges between the transmitter and the receiver.One practical case could be a transmission with 4 bridges before reaching the receiver. This implies BNC connections (4 female-female BNC panel connectors) plus 2 BNC connections (transmitter and receiver). If we use SDI connectors we would have anattenuation of 0.85 dB x 5= 4.25 dB (in addition to the one produced by the cable itself and not considering the BNC panelconnectors). If HDTV (HD-SDI) connectors ar used, this rate can be reduced to 0.95dB.

EZ-RJ45® Termination

Terminación de conectores en 3 sencillos pasos Terminating Connectors is as EZ as 1-2-3!

1) Extraer entre 11/2” y 2” de la cubierta del cable utilizando la peladora de cable Cat 5e/6, P/N 15015. Girar la peladora una o dos vueltas, lo suficiente para marcar la cubierta sin traspasarla para evitar cortar los conductores.

1) Remove 1 1/2” to 2” of your cable jacketfrom your cable using the Cat5e/6 CableJacket Stripper, P/N 15015. Rotate stripper1 to 2 turns, enough to score the jacketwithout cutting through it, to preventnicking the conductors.

5) Determinar si se utilizará la configuración T568A o T568B y colocar los hilos adecuadamente. Alinear los hilos y realizar un corte limpio de los 8 conductores con la P/N 10517 dejando aproximadamente 1.5” fuera de la cubierta.

5) Determine whether you will be usingthe T568A or T568B configuration (above) and organize wires accordingly. Line up your wires and make a clean cut across all 8 conductors with P/N 10517 leaving approximately 1.5" of wire protruding from the jacket.

2) Doblar el cable por la marca. La cubierta del cable se desprenderá. Extraerla SIN desecharla. Servirá como separador de los pares.

2) Bend the cable where it is scored andthe cable jacket will ‘pop’ and break away. Remove it but do NOT throw it away. This is your FREE pair separator!

6) Deslizar el conector por los hilos ajustándolo en la cubierta. Cat5e: Asegurarse de insertar la cubierta del cable más allá del cierre principal para que los giros sean inferiores a 1/2" desde el punto de la terminación. Cat6: Asegurarse de insertar la cubierta del cable detrás de los contactos para que los giros sean inferiores a 3/16” desde el punto de la terminación.

6) Slide the connector onto the wires snugging it up to the jacket. Cat5e: Be sure to insert cable jacket beyond the primarystrain latch to assure twists are less than 1/2" from the point of termination. Cat6: Be sure to insert cable jacket all the way up andbehind the contacts to assure twists are less than 3/16” from the point of termination.

7) Crimpar y cortar el conector en un único paso con la P/N 100054.

7) Crimp & trim the connector in oneEZ process with P/N 100054.

4) Enderezar cada par, eliminando dobleces y torceduras
