What is Matcha?Matcha is ground green tea with the consistency of fl our. It takes 24 hours to grind a pound of quality matcha. To make

a cup of it, all you need is a half teaspoon of matcha whisked into warm water. Matcha is popular here in the US because the health benefi ts are greater than regular green tea due to

the consumption of the leaves as opposed to just the steeped infusion. This also means increased caffeine for alertness and

L-theanine which calms and soothes the mind. Our matcha comes directly from the farm - freshly ground

for us in small batches when we order.

We offer several grades of matcha from culinary to ceremonial

straight from Japan.
