Heritage Trip

to Germany Enjoy this special cultural & educational sightseeing tour, combined with a nice vacation in

Germany!

MAY 4 TO MAY 15, 2009

This trip includes roundtrip airfare, in-flight meals, all over night accommodations

with two meals daily, all scheduled tours and admission fees. We will be touring in

a modern German tour coach and your tour escorts will be from Kutztown and

Germansville (bi-lingual), Pennsylvania.

This Cultural excursion has been arranged in cooperation with

Pastorius Haus in Germany

Leave from Kutztown via private bus to the airport. Free parking for your vehicle will be available at the PGCHC at Kutztown University.

You will need a current US Passport.

This trip requires that you be able to walk unassisted for one hour or continuously walking up to one mile.

Depart from JFK Airport in New York to Frankfort, Germany. Exact times will be sent later.

Travel from Frankfort Airport throughout the Pfalz, Baden-Württenberg, Black Forest and Bavarian areas of Germany. Experience the Wine Road and Romantic Road in southern Germany—two of the most scenic routes available.

Also, travel through the Alsace-Lorraine area of France.

You will stay in double rooms with a private bath. A single supplement of $300.00 will be charged if you do not share a room.

If you cancel before February 10, 2009 a $75.00 fee will be retained.

Please note: Hotels and Buses in Germany are not airconditioned.

You should figure about $10—$15.00 for each day for lunches and beverages on your own.

See page 3 for the itinerary—subject to change, as necessary.

Cost @$2995.00 per person

This tour cost is based upon 20 participants. The itinerary has been built around a variety of requests and suggestions. The minimum amout of persons needed to operate this trip is 10 paid.

This trip truly offers “something for everyone”: Old favorites, which definitely are a must-see again, but also new sights worth exploring. In doing so, a very ambitious tour schedule has evolved. It must be noted that construction areas, traffic jams and weather conditions may limit our plans, expecially in the mountain areas. While it is our sincere hope to accomplish everything listed in the attached itinerary, it is the coach driver who will make the final determination daily.

Not included are beverages and any personal expenses. Also, not included are lunches while touring on land, any personal guide/admission fees, roundtrip travel to/from the PGCHC parking lot.

We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance. An insurance brochure will be sent to you after receipt of your deposit.

Additional information will be sent to you approx. 30 days prior to departure. We will also offer a “get acquainted” evening to meet your fellow travelers at the PGCHC in springtime. We can answer any questions about packing, weather, etc. at that time. For further information please call: Bernice Hicks of Pastorius Tours at 610 767- 6981 or Darlene Moyer at the PA German Cultural Heritage Center at Kutztown University at 484 646-4172.
