Kjaer Global is established: Founded in Denmark in 1988 by Anne Lise Kjaer, the company soon relocates its headquarters to Hamburg, Germany.
1995 WEB 1.0: Kjaer buys its first computer
and joins the Internet.
1989 Hamburg studio: The studio delivers trend and colour intelligence primarily to the design sector.
1999 Sydney keynote: Anne Lise Kjaer delivers first
international keynote in Sydney – setting her on course to become one of the world’s most sought after futurists.
1994 Trend Antenna: Kjaer Global publishes its first trend forecasting book for the fashion industry.
1998 Global Influences:The first Global Influences book is published, marking
a shift in focus towards delivering business trend
intelligence and inspiration across all industries.
1992 London studio: Well established internationally, Kjaer Global moves to the UK and opens a studio in east London.
2005-2006 Trend management: Kjaer Global cements reputation as the ‘go to’ trend strategy and ideas agency through successful collaborations with Toyota, Sony, Nokia and IKEA.

2003 Time to Think: First Time to Think thought leadership conference is held at the Danish Design Centre.
2015 Top 7 futurist: Huffington Post lists Kjaer as among
the top seven futurists in the world.
2015 The future of luxury: Independent luxury report to 2030 is presented at Volvo’s global press conference London.
2015 Amsterdam:Netherlands office led by social anthropologist Timo Mashiyi-Veikkola.
2003 Trend Atlas: For an automotive futures project, the first Trend
Atlas is created to envision the world in 2025.
2015-16 University of Cambridge: Kjaer gives several lectures at the University of Cambridge.
