What a year! It started in Thruxton on a chilly Easter Sunday when I raced my re-acquired Formula Ford for the first time in 40 years - the very car I won in an Autosport competition that kick-started my racing career.

Tiff’s Tales

After a frenetic race with good old fashioned slip stream passing (who needs DRS!) I was delighted to make it onto the podium with a 3rd place before joining the ‘passionate team’ to enjoy the rest of the day in the comfort of our private trackside hospitality suite.

Next up was our regular trip to the fabulous Mille Miglia. This really is one to join us on next year, it’s so much more than a car event being more of an opportunity to sample and experience all that’s best about this wonderful part of Italy. From there, we were almost straight into the glamour and excitement of the Monaco Grand Prix where once again clients enjoyed the Motor Passion personalised touch with hosted dinners and our popular post race get together overlooking the stunning harbour full of mega yachts. The excellent race set the scene for an early sell-out Silverstone which provided a great result for Mercedes despite the well publicised ‘tyre issues’.

Still on the subject of Monaco – we will not only be at the F1 event next year but also have packages organised to the Historics, where I hope also to be out racing in the Formula 3 event. Chantal tells me that she has discovered a hidden gem of a hotel to offer you in Nice. So do make contact for details.

The Abu Dhabi F1 Grand PrixFriday 1 to Monday 4 November

The incredible city of Dubai is less than a one hour transfer to Yas Marina Circuit and is our regular base for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. There are many ways to do this event however our Collection package provides a fully hosted four day programme which includes twilight dune bashing in Hummers, views from the world’s tallest tower, sumptuous wining and dining and of course some time built in to visit one or two shops. The modern Yas Island circuit

offers exciting racing with our reserved air conditioned grandstand seats giving views of the key overtaking section and the spectacular marina area. After the race enjoy poolside drinks and canapés before our private chauffeur vehicles with our privileged access passes (avoiding the Park n’ Ride system) transfer you directly back to your hotel.

Please call to discuss the options available or view our website to see some suggestions.

Ice Driving 2014 Dates in January and February are available for 2 or more people

So what makes this event special...? Well the setting is truly spectacular and the cars are all the very latest models and include Porsche Carrera, VWR32 and Porsche Cayenne. However, the key element of this experience is that it’s all about taking part. Forget lengthy classroom sessions, being driven by an instructor or even sharing a car with a group. Your time on the ice and in the driving seat will be extensive ensuring you are able to put into practice what you learn as the day progresses and your confidence grows. In between drifting your Porsche sideways with plumes of ice and crystal snow behind you there will be opportunities for dog sledding, dinner in a woodsman cabin lit by oil lamps, relaxing in the outdoor hot tubs heated by traditional log burners and let’s not forget the

snow mobile safari. Here you will experience a contrasting blend of tranquillity and wilderness as we head through undulating forest tracks over the mountains...

We believe our Swedish Ice driving specialists are the best in the business and therefore we are particularly pleased to have recently formalised our partnership and are now their approved UK agency partner.

So for a fabulous snow weekend with the best ice driving master class on the market… you’d best give us a call and book your preferred date now!

Targa Florio – Update9-13 October 2013

Don’t you just love the Italians (or Sicilians to be more precise) I spent 3 days following the cars last year over the original route and put together a fabulous programme for

this October. However, the new organisers very recently decided their new route was even more original than last years and subsequently changed the entire programme! So our ‘modified’ 4 night programme is now finalised and ready to go. This, like the Mille Miglia is an event full of tradition, characters, fabulous classic machinery and some truly spectacular roads and scenery. All from the comfort of our chauffeured MPV’s with superb hotels and delicious regional wining and dining. Add it to that bucket list!

The Mille Miglia 14 -18 May 2014

Our increasingly popular five day programme to the world’s most iconic motor race, hosted by our ever enthusiastic Tiff Needell. This fabulous event starts and ends in Brescia (via Rome) although our itinerary has us dipping in and out at various locations along the way. The weekend encompasses the perfect blend of culture, privileged viewing, VIP hospitality and of course some of the world’s most treasured sports cars.

Whether you fly, self drive or take the train to our starting destination on Lake Garda, we will look after you from the moment you arrive, transferring you throughout between the various locations in our chauffeured MPVs so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacle.

The fully inclusive programme includes, boutique hotels and superb wining and dining, tours of priceless private collections, VIP access to privileged viewing areas all combined with excellent Italian hospitality.

“Whilst the Mille Miglia was clearly outstanding in its own right, the itinerary that you had built around it turned what might have been just a car event into an excellent holiday with great locations, food, accommodation, hassle free transportation, and most of all... superb hosts!”

Join us for the Le Mans 24 Hours 14-15 June 2014

With Porsche returning to the LMP1 class at Le Mans in 2014 and ex Red Bull driver Mark Webber leading the team, we thought it would be a good idea to put together a self-drive trip for those who had always fancied visiting this iconic event but perhaps needed to be tempted by a good quality programme? Well watch this space as they say and don’t worry, other than our superb trackside marquee hospitality facility, we promise there will be no tents involved!

The Italian F1 Grand Prix Friday 6 to Tuesday 10 September

Monza is, in our opinion, one of the most atmospheric races of the season and this year we have combined it with the beautiful setting of Lake Como to make it one of the ‘must do’ F1 events!

The Italian’s are hugely passionate about their motor sport and the fans are out in force turning the grandstands into the famous Ferrari red of the Tifosi. The circuit is set in a beautiful Royal park, with sections of the original banked track still in evidence. Most of the car parking is beyond the

park perimeter so this event can involve a lot of walking making our chauffeur driven transfers , complete with special passes for privileged access and VIP centre parking, a must have. After the race we return to Como to discuss the day’s events with drinks and canapés on our lakeside terrace. On Monday we’ll enjoy cruising in our private motor launch for a fabulous relaxed lunch in the picturesque town of Bellagio... Can it get any better?

Please call us to discuss.
