Firmware Update Procedure

This procedure book mentioned an upgrading method of firmware.

Please execute F/W Version UP according to the following procedure.

Contents

(1) Connect to LCT.

(2) Maintenance Mode On

(3) Program Download execution

(4) CPU RESET execution

(5) Confirm the version

Details of procedure

(1) Connect to LCT.

Dial-up is executed, it connects with LCT-Web, and Login is done.

(2)Maintenance Mode On

　By a maintenance menu, please make it a maintenance mode.

(3) Program Download execution

Program File Download is selected from the Maintenance2 menu.

I download a file in the next procedure

a. Please choose Package Program

b. Push a browser button and choose a file

c. A file to choose is “NEW Program file(*.pfp)”.　（In an example, I use a file of "pn-

ctrl2.0.3-applet1.04.002.pfp"）

d. Push an Execute button.

A download is finished in about approximately 15 minutes.

A screen is an example.

(4) CPU RESET execution

When download is completed, Status becomes “Complete".

Push the “CPU Reset" button after you confirmed that status is “Complete”.

Execution of CPU Reset

After selecting CTRL, and putting the check in with ROM(Program) Switching. “Execute”.

Please select “OK" though the following Warning message is displayed.

(5) Confirm the version

Connection of a device and a PC cuts it off by reset.

Please confirm a version with an inventory screen after reconnecting LCT.

Downloaded Version

IDU(CTRL) 　 : 　 Becoming the version that I downloaded.

If there is a version in the value mentioned above, an application of a software license is the end.

When versions are different, please carry it out in the same procedure again.
