Partnerships : Your Event Solution

• The PWP Studio team works diligently to maintain the local relationships that have been built since the studio opened in 2002by attending monthly networking/educational meetings and special events held by the Georgia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International and the National Association of Catering and Events. The day-to-day of working events are hectic; and although our team always makes every effort to greet the planning and setup team at any given event, time rarely allows for any substantial personal interaction. By attending meetings and special events specifically planned for professionals to interact, our photographers and marketing team have the opportunity to meet with area vendors face-to-face, and get to know the person behind the event day handshake and email address. Often, a trust and partnership between vendors is built by working side-by-side at multiple events; and the relationship is maintained at these networking events.

• Your Event Solution and PWP Studio have maintained a vendor partnership since 2008; and our team has had the privilege to photograph some of their most spectacular events! Late last year, YES invited Patrick to capture a black-tie fundraising event for a prominent college in Florida. The arena entrance and cocktail area were dressed head-to-toe in shimmering maroon draperies. Accented with glittering gold accessories and accents, and topped off with mirrors and roses, the space was virtually unrecognizable from its original state.

• Custom draperies shrouded the seats inside the basketball arena. Downlighting changed the color and mood of the space, and was accented with gold gobo lighting for a pop of added texture. The large projection screen became the centerpiece for displaying promotional videos; and highlighted speakers and performers while on stage.

• Fine linens in gold and maroon, multi-level glass candle holders, shimmering gold chargers accented with maroon napkins, red roses and orchids, mirrors and sparkle set the tables for this upscale, black-tie affair. 

• Entertainment included multiple musical groups during the cocktail hour and reception, student Acrobats, Carnival and Roller Skating performers, and the college Drumline and Marching Band. Headlining the entertainment roster was a performance by Carly Simon.

• From a distance, the setup is as overwhelmingly magnificent as from the guests’ vantage point.

• The planning that went into this event, and the execution of this event garnered a total of 4 Allie Awards!
