The Partnership Program is a strategic and comprehensive framework in which JICA and counterpart organizations in partner countries jointly implement technical cooperation activities efficiently and effectively for the beneficiary countries. JICA also shares its knowledge and experience on aid management with its counterpart organization.

As of November 2009, Japan has concluded Partnership Programs with 12 countries : Singapore, Thailand, Egypt, Tunisia, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Philippines, Morocco, Mexico, Indonesia and Jordan.
