For over 20 years, Advocates at the National Domestic
Violence Hotline have responded when anyone affected by domestic violence makes the courageous first step to reach out for help. In May 2019, we answered our 5 millionth call. We believe that each of us has a call to answer to help create safer communities, healthier relationships, and lasting social change. Every person who has taken a step, large or small, to support survivors and end domestic violence, has at least one reason why. During the months of June and July, we're reflecting on the reasons we are dedicated to this work and invite each of you to do the same.
Share some of the reasons you’re dedicated to ending intimate partner violence using the hashtag #5MillionReasons.
Retweet or reshare content posted by the National Domestic Violence Hotline and loveisrespect. We’ll be posting about our reasons throughout both June and July.
