Concept of prototypeis not unique or is onlyslightly improved overexisting solutions.

Does the productcreate value for theuser? Does it satisfy a need or fix anexisting healthcareissue?

Impact Great prototype that is highly relevant, exceeds users’ needs and creates additional value.

Innovation

Alignmentwith Challenge

User Experience

Presentation Presentation does notclearly explain the issuethe team chose or howthe prototypeaddresses it.

Presentation is good but lacks some design elements or information that could better help explain the issue chosen and how the prototype addresses it.

Difficult to navigate or lacking visual appeal.

The issue the team has chosen is not clearly articulated or related to the theme of the event and the prototype is therefore not relevant.

Presentation is clear,concise and pleasing.

Looks good.Main features wereeasy to find, somefeatures were toohidden.

Looks great andis easy to useand intuitive.

The issue is clearlyidentified and theprototype is veryrelevant, creating aneffective solution.

Prototype has little or no relevance to any healthcare issue.

Did the team explaintheir prototype andthe issue they choseclearly? Did they havea concise and easy tofollow presentation?

How good is the overall experience of a personusing the product? Is it simple to use, intuitive, and visuallypleasing?

Is the solution relevantto the healthcare issuechosen by the teamand the theme of theevent?

Is the prototype unique? Is it building on anexisting solution/product? Is there a“Wow” factor to theuniqueness of the ideaand prototype?

The prototype is a trulyunique idea that has not been seen on the marketbefore.

There is a definite"Wow" factor to theprototype.

The issue beingaddressed is clearlyidentified but theprototype is onlymoderately relevant.

A new approach toan existing solutionor adds new layers ofcreativity or data useto existing solutions.

Prototype is generallyrelevant and satisfiesusers’ needs in regardto issue chosen by team.
