Dear Friend,

There are many critical issues that face our industry . . . foreign trade agreements, tariffs, immigration reform, GMO labeling, tax reform . . . just to name a few . . . and let’s not forget the weather! It’s either too hot or too cold, we receive too much rain or not enough, hail, and “bomb” blizzards and flooding! While we can’t control the weather, we, as farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness persons prepare for weather extremes. But how do you prepare for “storms” that come your way either professionally or personally?

The Nebraska LEAD Program prepares you to become the decision maker, problem solver, and spokesperson for our industry AND prepares you to face those professional and personal storms.

Now’s the time—apply today! Be the person who will make a difference for our industry and let the Nebraska LEAD Program prepare you for the storms that may come your way in the future.

Whether you are a new or previous applicant, I invite you to complete an application. Should you have questions about the Nebraska LEAD Program, please call my office at (402) 472-6810. You can also request an application form anytime throughout the year by e-mailing [email protected]

Please remember the application deadline is June 15, 2020. I sincerely look forward to your response.

Terry Hejny, Ph.D.DirectorLEAD XX Alumnus
