Claude was a leader and long- standing member of the Oakville Cham- ber of Commerce and the Downtown Business Improvement Association. He was a WWII Veteran and served in Eu- rope with the Queen's Own Rifles. Grow- ing up in Kitchener, he was active in sports and played semi-pro fastball. Later in life he enjoyed being a member of the Oakville Curling Club. His energy, wit and enthusiasm for life will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
