    Mother Athina,

Though my body is caged, they will never stop my spirit from reaching you. This spirit carries the warm regards of brother Rexilious, who is being kept in

isolation for his restlessness in the face of captivity. Our recent ventures for freedomhave been have been received harshly. In order to be free in chains, we remaindefiant through the incarceration of our bodies. We are not prisoners, we are thehostages of struggle. Every day is a new chance to escape, a new chance todemonstrate our resolve for our people.

I am sorry, Mother. To leave you alone in a perilous world. To be forced toabandon my family in the face of the coming enemy waves. When I was a boy youlooked at me with tears in your eyes. You asked me to remain calm. You told me Iwas too young to be bothered with the weight of the world. “But what of love youngman, but what of joy? You can save your bitterness for old age...”

But you knew as well as I that there was little choice in the matter. We wereoffered no alternative; fight or die. I could no longer ignore the evils I saw. Therehangs no cover that can shield us from this torrential reign. We will not behumiliated, we will not go quietly. Even now, my thoughts escape the fortress of thedamned and stand with you on the battlefield. Gone are the days of old masters andgods, war will not be brought on our people without vengeful retaliation.

I fear the worst is yet to come. The vengeance of the Arbiter silences all criesfor justice. Our kingdom is no longer subject to the morals of man but is now herded by faceless slave drivers of fear. They have yet to see us bow and will stop at nothing

to intimidate us into submission. Keep watch of Evi and the young Polet, an attack isimminent. I did everything in my power to keep my loved ones from the wickednessof war but the boney hand of the arbiter knows no limit to his reach. You will beattacked simply for my refusal to yield.

Every night I awake to the same dream. The vision of an oil painting on the barren stone of my cell,

    ||My daughter stands shore against gale//grey storm clouds overthe bastille// the trapped twilight of a Gunpowder Sky||My body longs to feel rain but my heart wills no reprieve for the

    flames.

    NOTHING IS OVER

    THE WAR CONTINUES

As of this 17th day of November prisoner Athina Tsakolos has been granted

conditional release from remand. The conditions of her release dictate she is to be exiled to the

island of Arakhne Anansi , forbidden to have contact with any members of the parties

involved in the investigations of treason regarding The Conspiracy of Fire Cells. Before her

release she is to sign a certificate of provincial conscience, in which she will relinquish her right

to associate with the criminal elements of her bloodline.

She is to be monitored by the Sentries of Octi Ocelli, and await trial for the crimes of

Harboring Enemies of the Empire and Conspiracy to Commit Treason. This release of remand

has been granted by the Grand Arbiter in response to reports of the captive’s deteriorating

health. Furthermore, her imprisonment has caused agitation among the other captives, many

of whom have been refusing rations and causing great disturbance within the fortress. It is of

the opinion of the Satrap that should any of the prisoners perish in cells before tribunal, we

can expect incendiary attacks from the rebels to increase in number and intensity.

The rest of the prisoners are to remain locked in the Dungeon of Corinth. The Grand

Arbiter has beseeched the Titans of Gaea to aid in the suppression of revolts in the Dark

Territories. Send Angellos west to assure the villagers that the smoke trails are the result of a

wildfire in the Forest of Syneidesis. The subjects must not learn of the upheaval. The divine

right compels the Empire to victory.

    Open Letter to the Living

Imprisoned in the caves of the beast yet unresolved from the essential nature of

humankind...the sacred beauty of our sacrifice for one another. This is what separatesus from the petty quarrels of the gods. With this letter I reject the offer of release fromremand. There will be no change in this decision until Evi Satari, wife of myimprisoned son Gerasimos, is permitted to leave this fortress by my side. I will feel no

joy for my own release from captivity until the vindictive remand of Evi Statiri isended.

I shall remain in these confines of the oppressors vault. I will always beaccountable to this new generation of people because I, like all mothers and fathers ofmy age, could not deliver a better world to our sons and daughters. Too long have I

watched sharp axe of youth dulled on the greystone of struggle. Too long have Iwatched the garden of promise trampled beneath the leather heels of the Warhorse.

If I am to die in prison, I shall die in the hellish confines I left for the future. No one exists outside the walls of the fortress until the fortress itself lies in ashes. Noone is free of repentance until the gods have sorted through every last bone. I will notraise my sons to be feeding mice in the sweep of serpents.

If one more drop of blood shall fall, it will flow like the flood from the veins of athousand martyrs. It will take the shape of 1,000 masks. It will sink like the teeth of

1,000 wolves into the backs of 1,000 sheep. I will not be banished from the hills of myancestors. My back will not carry morsels to the queen in this colony of faceless aphids,

I will not rest while my loved ones starve themselves for my freedom. Every hourweighs them down. Their bodies weaken while their spirits deepen. To lose the desire todrink, is to gain the hunger to thirst. The day will come when we will arise to the sun,and our joy will be double because that’ll be the day when the strike of our loved oneswill end. Love and fearless solidarity from the shores of the Aegean to the Mountainsof Imitos .

Father it has been 10 years since my last confession

    When the Goodwill of man

     Begs

    For dishonesty.

    The truth Swings

    Like a 9 pound hammer

     In pensive Pendulence

    I was an apprentice

    Binding Beelzebub's books.And in his respite I,

    Resolved to steal the quill

    From the author of Sin.

My heart's well brimmed with flame.

    Hidden in a half-lit Hades

    Housed in hissing-hot hickory,

I poised plump in perfidy's perch

    Paganizing the sullied soilers.

While the hound dogs slept sound

    I lurked leaky nights

    Masked in unpredictability.

    Shaking sharp shivers in

    the still of soft silence

    Rabel-rousing wild mobs

To strike fear in Man's heart

    And in dawn's gold glory,

I, crooked crowned Chaos, drank wine

    And bade evening birds

    To sing

    Till marrow

    Na

     And now shall I repent?

    In this vainglorious vestibule?

    Nay, not today!

    I drape half-hardened silk,

    Slinging silhouettes from minarets!

    Erupting ebullient effigies!

    In fear-flooded halfway-homes of heaven,

    I bestow Bubonic Benevolence

    Banishing barterbull to blackened brimstone.

    Crooks of the cross!

Schmucks of the shield!Show your faces!

    Cowered in confesionario,

    Bastioned behind blasphemous badge,

Rotten Toothless sons of the south!

You shall find no rest in this world!

I will forge night a sodomous netherland

Revolution is not means to an end!

    It's breath is the vitality

    of the Vastitude Foreordained,

    an eternal endeavoring.

    Make no mistake,

I have not come for forgiveness,

    I have been sent,

    A messenger.

For in your sanctimonious ClamorJudgment day

    Came and Went

     Soft and swift.
