Professional summary My personal philosophy “Kāore he mutunga o tēnei mea, te ako” - There is no such thing as
an end to learning, sums up my life's work. I am committed to the preservation of Te Reo
Māori, particularly my unique Taranaki dialect, and Māoritanga in general. Relationships are
fundamental to this end and I have the privilege of maintaining great relationships with many
people. Academia played an important role in my journey to where I stand today. My current
role provides access to national organisations where I hope to make a significant
contribution and ultimately create change and betterment for Māori in Aotearoa New
Zealand.
