1.Stay indoors and dress warmly.
2.If you must go outside, wear layered clothing, mittens and a hat.
3.Watch for signs of hypothermia and frostbite.
4.Keep dry.
5.If you must drive, carry a cell phone.
6.Keep the gas tank full.
7.Prepare beforehand with enough food, water, essentials for at least
three days.

2.Designate a safe room. This area can either be a storm cellar, a
basement or a room on the lowest level of your home or building without
any windows.
3.Put essentials in your safe room.
4. If a warning is announced , go to safe room immediately
5.If possible, beforehand prepare your home for such an event.

6. If possible, secure and protect your property beforehand .
