The Story of NoachBy: Shalom F. ‘18
Restart
In the beginning of the Parsha of Noach, God decided the people were not good enough to live.
Survivor
God found one man who was worthy of saving.
That man, Noach, and his family would survive.
Build me a boat
So God told this man named Noach to build a boat big enough to fit 1.5 million animals and 8 people.
This boat would be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high, and would take Noach 120 years to build.
One floor would be for trash.
40 days and 40 nights
God sent rain for 40 days and 40 nights.
Noach and his family would be saved because of Noach’s boat.
Dove
After these 40 days and 40 nights the rain stopped and Noach sent out a raven to find out if the flood had stopped.
The raven came back with no success. Noach then sent out a dove and it came back with an olive branch as proof the land was dry.
Landing
Noach finally landed on Mt. Ararat.
Don’t make fun
There was a lot of pressure on Noach’s shoulders, so he began to drink.
Noah became very drunk, and was unclothed.
One of his sons made fun of him, while his other two sons came to dress him.
Build me a tower
Noach’s sons had many offspring and they wanted to build a tower to the heavens to confront God.
What?!
God punished them by changing their languages so nobody could communicate
The people got very frustrated and the tower was destroyed.
The End
Thank you very much.
