DIRECTOR Erica Lynford, CPRP

Director’s Note Beginning as a volunteer at CSA Palm Harbor some 20+ years ago turned into the best career decision I ever made. Leaving the corporate scene and entering the world of community service has been amazing. I’ve made so many friends in the past 16 years, my life is blessed beyond words. This past year has been fantastic for us here at CSA. We welcomed a new program called Home School of Pinellas and are delighted to have them returning in 2020. Thankfully, through budget management and the staff’s diligence, we purchased newer playground equipment for Pop Stansell. And, kids will be able to make music in the park with a soon-to-come xylophone. We renewed our Dinner Dances, and if you haven’t made it out to see the new entertainment and enjoy a fabulous meal, please join us for our January event!

A proud member of the Palm Harbor Community Service Agency, Inc.

As we ring in 2020, we anxiously await the arrival of Summer Camp. We look forward to seeing so many of our summer campers back year after year! Hard to believe we are in a new decade and some of our campers from the original summer camp here at The Centre, are now are volunteer camp counselors. We anticipate a decision about our new Recreation/ Shelter space funding in the next Penny cycle. We certainly need the space for pickleball, volleyball, track, Tae Kwon Do, meetings, banquets, cardio drumming and more!! I look forward to serving you for the next 16 years with the same heart as I have served the past 16 years. God bless you and Happy New Year!

For more info on season start dates, registration and league boundaries requirements, please visit: www.PalmHarborLittleLeague.com.

FEATUREDFEATURED SportSport Come Play Ball! Palm Harbor Little League (PHLL) is a chartered member of Little League International. The league was first chartered in 1990 by our first league President John Gibalina and continues to this day as a volunteer organization.

The objective PHLL is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

PHLL operates exclusively as a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization providing a supervised program of competitive baseball and softball games. As a non-discriminatory community-based organization, PHLL aims to promote fair play for all participants through the uniform adherence to Little League International (LLI) Official Regulations, Playing Rules, and Operating Policies.

SPRING REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

From beach volleyball to adult softball, you’ll find the league sport perfectly suited for you! For more info on current leagues, go to CSAPalmHarbor.org/Recreation.

Fun Fact: That first year in 1990 PHLL had over 1,600 registered players, including 36 Tee Ball teams. According to LLBI, we had the highest

concentration of registered players per square mile than

any other chartered Little League in the world! Today,

we now average 400-600 registered players each year.
