In the heart of rural Cheshire and set within 400 acres of historic parkland, Alderley Park is the focus of a unique and ambitious vision. From its country estate heritage dating back to 1818, Alderley Park has evolved into an internationally important location for scientific discovery.

Overlooking Alderley Park’s farmland on one side and woodlands on another, Parklands is a 100,000 sq ft building sitting across five floors. Award-winning, the building has been built to such a high standard it’s a rare find outside of a city centre market.

The atrium

At the focal point of Parklands is a central atrium which is home to a coffee shop and staff break-out space. A large space it also lends itself to events.

Alderley Park is home to its very own conference centre, which incorporates a 233 seat auditorium alongside a range of flexible meeting space to accommodate 18 to 380 delegates.

New spaces

One of our first redevelopments will be a 300,000 sq ft complex of buildings. Centred around a communal atrium and internal courtyard, it will be a hub for a multitude of businesses of all shapes and sizes. From offices, laboratories to manufacturing facilities, a single desk through to a whole building, we’ve got it all covered.

Overlooking farmland on one aspect and woodland on the other, like many buildings on the park it offers an attractive setting. We’ll be bringing new meeting and conference facilities to the development and it’ll be home to its very own coffee shop.

Events

We have an active events programme from farm days where you can bring the kids along to meet some feathered friends and baby lambs through to inflatable fun with It’s a Knockout. To celebrate the festive season Christmas markets come to the park and we host a pantomime with friends and family welcome.

We have many sporting events from football tournaments, fancy dress rounders, table tennis, a site race and a rowing challenge. To help keep the kids entertained during the summer break a number weekly camps run throughout the holidays.

Travelling by bus

Alderley Park is directly serviced every 30 minutes between Manchester City Centre and Macclesfield (via Handforth and Wilmslow) by the 130 bus. Operated by Arriva, the bus runs directly through the park stopping at both Mereside and the south campus.

The 27A operated by Vale of Llangollen Travel also services the Park twice a day between Macclesfield and Knutsford via Chelford.

Travelling by car

Sitting near the junction where Congleton Road (A34) and Chelford Road (A537) intersect, Alderley Park can be reached quite easily by staff living in Macclesfield to the east, Wilmslow north of Alderley Edge and Knutsford to the west.

We encourage car sharing that enables employees to share the daily commute – a great way to meet new people, reduce travel costs and minimise emissions.

Stunning and picturesque, Alderley Park is nestled in the woodlands of Nether Alderley. The village of Alderley Edge is a short drive/cycle away, and is home to numerous independent shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants.
