The park is located in the southeast corner of Marion County, just off I-74 at the Acton Road exit. There is no fee to enter the park. The park office is open 9-5 M-F and 12-4 Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays. Shelters and Picnic Sites Shelters: Southeastway Park has 6 large picnic shelters available for rent. These shelters are perfect for company picnics, family reunions and church outings. Shelters can accommodate groups of up to 100 people. Picnic Sites: the park has 3 picnic sites available for rent. Picnic sites are ideal for family and small group picnics. These sites are not covered. Picnic Sites can hold up to 50 people. Additional Picnic Areas There are many picnic areas scattered throughout the park. All are first come, first serve. Building Rentals The Activity Center is available to rent during the months of September, October, November and December. The Activity Center is a lodge type building that is equipped with a large fireplace, a kitchenette, restrooms and enough tables and chairs for up to 60 people. Call the park office for more details. *************************************** Educational Programs Southeastway Park offers a wide variety of environmental education programs for school, scout and public groups. Contact the park office for more information. Maple Syrup Season Mid-February through mid-March individuals and groups can witness the maple syrup making process and taste the results! Summer Camps Southeastway Park summer camps focus on environment education and outdoor fun. Campers participate in many activities including bird hikes, creek walks, outdoor cooking, nature games, bug catching, crafts and lots more. Bug Fest Bug fest is our annual celebration of bugs! Held near the end of August, Bug Fest is a huge event and lots of fun for the entire family. Join the “swarms” of people learning about the wonderful world of bugs and earn an official degree of “Bugology”. Hayrides A hayride package consists of a 3 hour use of a shelter, picnic site or Activity Center, a campfire and a tractor-pulled hayride. It’s one of the best ways to enjoy the beautiful Indiana fall. - Do not feed wildlife.

- Respect your surroundings; all plants, animals,

and structures are protected by city ordinance.

- Park grounds are open dawn to dusk.

- Keep pets on a leash at all times.

- Alcohol is prohibited.

- No amplified music - it disturbs other park us-

ers.

- Drive on paved roads only.

- Park in lots or parallel to the road.

- No open fires.

- Bikes only on paved trails.

To Get to Southeastway Park from Indianapolis: Take I-65 south to I-465. Take I-465 east towards I-74. Take the I-74 exit towards Cincinnati. Once on I-74, take the

Acton Road exit. Turn left onto Acton Road, then right on Southeastern (the first T), left on Carroll (second T) and the park is down the road on the left.
