On Saturday, September 23, 2017, Park Avenue Club was proud to host the 23rd
Anniversary Cocktail Gala in honor of the Park Avenue Foundation.
Our members were treated to a strolling cocktail party featuring some of Chef
Arnold’s delicious and creative fare. Musical entertainment included live piano
featuring Matthew Friedman, “The Piano Man” in Billy Joel’s award-winning musical,
MOVIN’ OUT, as well as the Neue Stringz Quartet playing contemporary covers.
The evening was found to be incredibly successful thanks to our generous donors,
sponsors, attendees and committee members. We are proud to share the silent
auction and “Text to Pledge” was equally as successful, directly benefiting the Park
Avenue Foundation. The night was highlighted with the presentation of the David
Van H. Hedley “Spirit of Giving” award to this year’s recipient, Paul A. Boudreau, Presi-
dent of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. Afterwards, guests were treated
to a high end cigar bar outside on Charity’s Patio while enjoying fine wines, cordials
and serenaded by a live guitarist.
