Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We are very blessed! The Lord has sent us the “ushpizin.” Yesterday, 70 pilgrims from Missouri, Kansas and Texas arrived in Brockton. I’m grateful for your support and prayers! Anything that we do to help our youth to have a meeting with Jesus Christ will not be forgotten. Some of our parishioners are now in Denver, CO starting there their pilgrimage too… I ask you to pray for these brothers and sisters of ours to discover that true happiness comes when we open the doors of our hearts to the Lord. Hopefully, we will hear soon about the many vocations to the priesthood, marriage and religious life that will blossom in their midst! We are blessed to be witnesses of so many great miracles. Talking about vocations, our Itinerant Seminarian has received another assignment and mission: Lousiana. Mateus will join that missionary soon by the end of August, therefore there is still time for us to enjoy his presence, joy and enthusiasm here. Finally, I am also happy to receive in our parish the delegation of Chile and the beautiful image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the patroness of Chile. Our 12PM Spanish Mass will start with a little procession from the parking lot, and traditional music and dance will enrich the celebration today. All of you are invited toi join us for the procession and party after Mass, and ask Our Lady to intercede for us and our families in difficult situations. Finally, all couples who are preparing to be married in the Communitarian Wedding must attend the three-day Marriage Preparation scheduled for August 4, 5 and 6, 2021, from 7 to 8PM. I am excited to see life and joy in Brockton, and I am very sure that the Lord will open for us opportunities to Evangelize and bring Jesus to many brothers and sisters who are still far away. Please join us in this “Ministry of Craziness”!

Queridos hermanos y hermanas:

¡Somos muy bendecidos! El Señor nos ha enviado el "ushpizin". Ayer, 70 peregrinos de Missouri, Kansas y Texas llegaron a Brockton. ¡Estoy agradecido por su apoyo y oraciones! Todo lo que hagamos para ayudar a nuestros jóvenes a tener un encuentro con Jesucristo no será olvidado. Algunos de nuestros feligreses están ahora en Denver, CO comenzando allí su peregrinaje también… les pido que oren por estos hermanos y hermanas nuestros para descubrir que la verdadera felicidad solo llega cuando abrimos las puertas de nuestros corazones al Señor. ¡Con suerte, escucharemos pronto sobre las muchas vocaciones al sacerdocio, el matrimonio y la vida religiosa que florecerán entre ellos! Tenemos la bendición de ser testigos de tantos milagros tan grandes. Hablando de vocaciones, nuestro Seminarista Itinerante ha recibido otra misión: Lousiana. Mateus se unirá a ese equipo misionero pronto a fines de agosto, por lo que todavía hay tiempo para que disfrutemos de su presencia, alegría y entusiasmo aquí. Finalmente, también me alegra recibir en nuestra parroquia a la delegación de Chile y la bella imagen de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, la patrona de Chile. Nuestra misa en español de las 12PM comenzará con una pequeña procesión desde el estacionamiento, y la música y el baile tradicionales enriquecerán la celebración de hoy. Todos ustedes están invitados a unirse a nosotros en la procesión y la fiesta después de la Misa, y pedirle a Nuestra Señora que interceda por nosotros y nuestras familias en situaciones difíciles. Finalmente, todas las parejas que se estén preparando para casarse en la Boda Comunitaria deben asistir a la Preparación Matrimonial de tres días programada para el 4, 5 y 6 de agosto de 2021, de 7 a 8PM. Estoy emocionado de ver vida y alegría en Brockton, y estoy muy seguro de que el Señor nos abrirá oportunidades para evangelizar y llevar a Jesús a muchos hermanos y hermanas que aún están lejos. ¡Únete a nosotros en este “Ministerio de la Locura”!

Él ha abolido la ley con sus mandamientos y decretos, para crear, de los dos, en sí mismo, un único hombre nuevo, haciendo las paces. Reconcilió con Dios a los dos, uniéndolos en un solo cuerpo mediante la cruz, dando muerte, en él, a la hos lidad. Vino a anunciar la paz: paz a vosotros los de lejos, paz también a los de cerca.
