Respeto a La Vida:

El dolor y la pena del aborto no necesitan durar toda la vida.

Una “Dia de Oración y Sanación” ofrece la oportunidad para

Comité de Cuaresma:

El comité de Blessed Sacrament que prepara las celebracio-

nes de Cuaresma y Pascua se reunirá el Domingo 9 de Fe-

Will be taken up next week. This special collection, provides

Pope Francis with the funds to carry out his charitable works

around the world. The proceeds benefit our brothers and sis-

ters on the margin of society, including victims of war oppres-

A day of prayer and healing offers the opportunity to experi-

St. Blaise Feast:

We will celebrate the traditional St. Blaise Feast Monday Feb-

ruary 3 with the blessings of throats. Let us pray for a healthy

winter.

St. Patrick Cathedral:

Will celebrate mass for our Lady of Suyapa on Sunday,

February 9th at 4:00pm All are welcome!

Lenten and Easter Committee Meeting:

Sunday, February 9th at 2:00pm. Please bring your good

ideas for that meeting on that day to the parish office.

President’s Day Mass Schedule:

Monday, February 17, Blessed Sacrament Mass at 8:00 am

and Holy Family 9::00am. Both rectories will be closed on that

day.

Ash Wednesday:

Will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 26th, marking the

beginning of Lent. Blessed Sacrament will have two bilingual

mass at 8 am & 6:30 pm. In church and at Bronx Rehab

Center at 1010 Underhill Ave. with distribution of ashes.

Holy Family: 9 am in English and 7pm in Spanish. Your do-

nations are always welcomed

World Marriage Day:

Will be Sunday, February 9, 2020 the annual search has be-

gun for the longest married couple in the Archdiocese of New

York. Couple must live in this Archdiocese and be married

Sacramentally for 65 years or more. All couples that enter and

qualify will receive a commemorative certificate from Cardinal

Dolan.

Christian Celebrations:

Parishioners wishing to celebrate memorials, devotional

events should all the rectory to make arrangements as earlier

as possible, to save dates in our annual calendar.
