Budget Actual Variance Dec. 25, 2016 NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO PUBLICATION DATE Mary is the perfect role model for living a stewardship lifestyle. She listened to God and said “yes” to his invitation to be the Holy Mother of His son. She also trusted in God’s providence on a daily basis. As we start a new year, take time every day to listen to how god is calling you; trust that He has a better plan for you than you could ever imagined. “And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart.” ~Luke 2:19

MARY, MOTHER OF GOD

Heavenly Father, you blessed the Virgin Mary with the fullness of grace.

She is my model of faith, hope, and love. I give this new year to her intercession

and ask for her holy prayers. Place my needs into the protection

of her motherly love. With her help, I want my faith to grow.

Give me an increase in the virtue of hope when troubles tempt me to despair.

Guide me in understanding Your infinite love. And join my heart, dear Lord,

to the Holy Mother’s Immaculate Heart, so that I may improve

in loving everyone unconditionally, in imitation of my Savior, Jesus,

Amen.

THE PARISH OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED ON

MON., JAN. 2, FOR NEW YEAR’S BREAK.

VOCATIONS CRUCIFIX: The crucifix is taken home by a person or family each week and put in a safe place of honor. The prayer for vocations is then prayed each day by the person or family for the entire week. Your prayers are greatly needed so we ask that you sign up now in the Bell Tower.

RETROUVAILLE: Thinking about Separation or Divorce? Is your marriage or that of a relative or friend struggling or even heading for divorce? Do you know how to save that marriage? Or do you feel helpless? Retrouvaille is designed to help troubled marriages regain their health. It helps spouses uncover or re-awaken the love, trust, and commitment that originally brought them together. The program is highly successful in saving hurting marriages, even bringing reconciliation to couples who have already sepa-rated or divorced. For confidential information about or to register for the January program beginning with a weekend on Jan. 6-8, call Paul or Patty Miguel, 806-420-1520, or email us at [email protected] or visit the website at www.HelpOurMarriage.com. NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING (NFP): Learn NFP at home and at your own pace with the Home Study Course from NFP International, www.nfpandmore.org. Includes Ecological Breastfeeding (it really can space babies), a double-check system of fertility awareness, and Catholic teaching that’s easy to understand. Work with a live instructor by email. Completion certificate. Only $70. We are listed at the U.S Bishops' website under NFP long distance learning: http://www.usccb.org/issues-and-action/marriage-and-family/natural-family-planning/nfp-distance-learning.cfm.
