Paris Offers So Much To Do
All visitors to Paris become familiar with the Serine River and the best way to enjoy the
amazing, dramatically beautiful sites area is on a very posh, slick cruise. The Seine River
Cruise visitors can see all the corners of Paris, while cruising under the twenty eight bridges
that connect Paris.
Everyone must visit the Eiffel Tower, which was built in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel for the
World's Fair. The Tower is 324 metres tall, the tallest building in Paris, made entirely of
metal and serves as a very romantic backdrop, especially at sunset. Other visitors enjoy
climbing the 400 stairs. Pay special attention to the Tower at night because for five minutes
all the flashing lights on the tower are turned on.
Another must see when visiting Paris is the Louvre , one of the world's largest museums at
60,000 square metres., originally opened on August 10, 1793, and at that time, contained
537 paintings and 184 objects of art. Today, the museum contains 35,000 objects, including
the Mona Lisa among its 6,000 pieces of art dating from the 1200s. Visitors are also treated
to shopping at the first Apple Store in France, and a large McDonald's restaurant. For More
