The Student Success Center is committed to helping you achieve academic success. There is a collection of resources to help students develop a better approach to learning. This collection includes tips for student skills and learning strategies.

Co-Op: Cooperative Education (co-op) is a program designed to integrate degree-related, real-world experience with classroom students. Co-ops work multiple semesters with the same employer and are paid employees. The co-op program intentionally provides a balance of work and school.

Tutoring: The Tutoring Programs consist of Academic Coaching, Content Tutoring, and Writing Tutoring. The goal of this program is to work with UAH students not only on content but also on student and learning strategies so that students can become independent learners. The program provides academic assistance to students in-person and online through one-on-one and small group sessions.

PASS: The Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) Program offers regularly scheduled review sessions led by PASS leaders - students who have previously done well in the course and have been trained to make sure you get the most out of each session.

SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS

Student Success Center: The Student Success Center (SSC) provides academic support programs that empower individuals to realize their potential as self-directed learners and professionals. SSC programs include PASS, Academic Coaching, Content Tutoring, Online Tutoring, Writing Tutoring, and other resources for students.
