A day in the life of a 5th graderArrive, unpack, morning prayers over the PA,
morning meeting where we talk about the current events, go over our schedule for the day, and students may share.
Reading and Math are always in the morning, followed by lunch and recess, a read aloud, and Writing, Religion, and Science/Social Studies in the afternoon.
The day ends with afternoon prayers over the PA, and our own class intentions.

Accelerated ReaderAll students have taken their STAR test and
been given their AR reading levels and goal.Students are required to meet their point
goal each quarter. This includes 2 non-fiction books.
Students must pass their AR tests with an average of 80% or better.
Reading every night will help students stay on track to meet their goal.
HomeworkReading Logs
Must be completed daily20 minutes of reading, signed by a parent
Math HomeworkWill vary depending on the lesson
Other subjects- will vary depending on the unit and lesson
