IDENTIFY community points and locations in Southwark and Lambeth where P2P can be engaged and promoted

AIM : Parent2Parent is a community initiative that links together parents with informal local advisors through one-to-one sessions, skill exchanges and community activities.Building a strong network of knowledge and skills and interactions to engage parents in inspiring and innovative activities aiming to heighten the wellbeing of both parent and child.

GOAL: The Parent 2 Parent network will offer opportunities for people to find and establish a strong community support system. It aims to recognise and maximise resources that exist within the community. This social founda-tion will heighten the wellbeing of parents and children through more active, creative and positive relationships.

FUTUREWe aim for the network to grow and flourish through the community according to both their ideas, innovations and needs supported and assisted by professionals in the field. Members will be connected through a rich online platform that will facilitate frequent community events as chosen by them and bring individuals together. The online platform will be designed so that itis easy to navigate, user friendly and highly relevant to the communities.

Parent 2 Parent

FACILITATE engagement meetings with interested participants. ‘Parent Guardians’ seeking advice and ‘Community Resources’ offering their time and knowledge.

MATCH profiles of partici-pants and encourage the process of One-on-One informal meet-ups.

FEEDBACK sessions and facilitated discussions following first encounters between PGs and CRs. Identify opportunities for further activities.

ORGANISE community activities involving P2Ps and their children. Incoroporating themes of the meetups and encouraging playful interaction.

CONNECT PGs and CRs across the borough through an accesible online platform. Opening a rich network for future interactions.
